On Monday, Johannesburg radio station 947 announced a line-up change and bid farewell to mid-morning radio host Stacey Norman.
According to the announcement made by the popular radio station, Stacey Norman will be on the airwaves until the end of June. Former YFM DJ Ayanda MVP who recently joined the Primedia team will be taking over the the mid-morning show from 3rd July.
Norman, known for her quirky personality and humour hosted the Stacey Norman Live show daily between 10 am to 1 pm and has been with the 947 team for 11 years. The station praised her contribution and commitment over the many years of service and wished her well on her new journey.
Norman, who is also a co-host of The Voice: South Africa is said to be approaching an exciting new chapter in her career, however it is still unclear what exactly she will be embarking on next.
Norman’s fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment at the decision and are questioning what this might do to the station. However, many are still in support of Norman’s new chapter despite the sudden announcement.
